Label Design & Production Management

It is incredibly satisfying to see your work on a Target shelf. Label design is a passion of ours at Ralaworks, and we take pride in every step of the process. A label provides a tangible user experience for the customer. It's something they can hold in their hand. It has this uncanny ability to convince, and it's our job to make your product sell itself.

Below you will see 2 collections of Puracy product labels, an example of art direction, an example of the progression through label designs, a list of all products that Ralaworks completed labels for since 2014, along with a list of the label design services Ralaworks can provide.

Art Direction for Illustrations

Ralaworks has an affinity for the arts, including illustration. All Puracy and Simply Natural labels include custom artwork completed by freelance artists. Ralaworks provides thorough art direction so that the artists can eliminate the blank canvas concerns and eliminate incorrect assumptions. The detailed process can take multiple versions and dozens of sketches, but the end result is always a gem!

Below is an example of the initial sketches received for the Natural Baby Stain Remover, along with the end result.

Label Design Evolution

Change for the Better

This collection showcases the evolution from initial concepts to the latest iteration of the Baby Shampoo label. Despite the aggressive use of color and a spot foil logo, the label in 2014 did not lend itself to proper legibility and contrast. As we progressed through the years, those 2 components became more of a priority, landing on a bold color band in our 2021 iteration.
